Caring Ministry
East Columbus United Methodist Church Caring Ministry is a ministry dedicated to the shut-ins affiliated with the church, either church members or attendees themselves or church members' family members who are not able to attend church because they are either in a nursing home, assisted living facility or at home.

This ministry provides flowers or gifts for Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day and the person's birthday. We also have a program called Adopt-a-Shut-in which assigns an interested person in the church to one or more of the shut-ins. In this way we hope to reach out to our shut-ins with visits, cards and gifts. Please contact Nancy Owens at (812) 375-1145 if you would like to participate in this program.

Caring Ministry is funded solely through gifts from Sunday School classes and individuals. It is not a part of the church budget or under the missions' umbrella. If you would like to contribute to this ministry please contact Nancy Owens or place your check made out to East Columbus United Methodist Church with Caring Ministry on the memo line in the offering plate.
